2025 Fantasy Football Mock Draft 2.0

Here we are again, on the brink of the biggest draft weekend of the year. It’s an exciting time for us folks. Again, my mock drafts are being completed on the Sleeper app. I will again be drafting in the half PPR single QB format with 12 rounds.

This mock was voted that I draft between the 7 and 11 spot. With that, I chose to draft at the 10 spot.

ROUND 1

1.10 – Ceedee Lamb (DAL-WR)

This was a slam dunk. Ceedee Lamb with Dak back and George Pickens lined up across from him he should have a great season. The Micah Parsons news just dropped yesterday as well, and that does in fact have fantasy implications. No defense for Dallas, no run game, it’s huck-it-chuck-it football for these guys. They will need to score 30 points a game to win.

2.3 – Devon Achane (MIA-RB)

Achane is another victim to ADP here as over the last month or so he had a bit of a grey cloud looming over him with injury, but latest reports are he should be good to go week one and he is a difference maker.

3.10 – Tee Higgens (CIN-WR)

Here we are again, and this time I land Tee as my WR2 rather than my 1WR. I went with Higgens here knowing I had a quick turnaround to me with a few different options in mind at running back. When healthy, this guy is a TD machine. He caught 10 touchdowns in 12 games played last season.

4.3 – Alvin Kamara (NO-RB)

I know, the vibes are also bad around New Orleans, but haven’t they been since Drew Brees retired? Kamara has done nothing but produce his entire career. I will absolutely take all of his opportunities as my RB2. I could have went with Ken Walker here but I didn’t want to draft 2 young guys who both were a little sketchy when it comes to injury history so I matched up Achane with ol’ reliable Kamara here.

5.10 – DeVonta Smith (PHI-WR)

I thought he was a value here, and to me this is the no-mans land for RBs. It was the likes of Joe Mixon, who we know is injured or Tony Pollard who I am just personally not a fan of. Give me the next best wide receiver two in the league only next to Higgens. Yeah, I said it.

6.3 – Jameson Williams (DET-WR)

Copy and paste what I said about Smith right here. This is probably the third best wide receiver two in the league, so let that be the staple of this mock team. It was just value WR territory here at this point, I didn’t love any running backs, and I could have gone with Hockenson at Tight End, which, don’t get me wrong I love Hock this season, the Vikings are desperate for weapons over there next to Jefferson, that is why they just traded for Thielen again. Hock will be great to start the season; I just went with BPA.

7.10 – Brian Robinson (SF-RB)

I needed another running back at this point, and I didn’t love anything here, but what does that say about who is even lower at this point in the draft? Call me crazy, or skeptical, but I genuinely believe that the Niners want to cut into CMC’s workload. Why else would they trade for Brian Robinson? They literally had to give something up to acquire him. The thing is, a HEALTHY CMC is the only ticket to get the Niners back to the Super Bowl (which that is even a lofty goal at this point to me) and the only way to do that is to lessen his workload so they don’t run him into the ground again. That’s a lot about CMC and not Brian Robinson I know, but really, is it? Don’t forget about how good Robinson really is. Kyle has already said he is their 2, not Guerendo.

8.3 – David Njoku (CLE-TE)

I got Njoku again, with Flacco being named the starter this is a huge win for Njoku. Flacco loves to chuck it and Njoku has proven he is worth the cost of an 8th round pick for the Tight End position.

9.10 – Josh Downs (IND-WR)

It’s not deja vu I promise. This guy will just prove this year he is the best wide receiver on the team this year and Daniel Jones being named the starter will help that.

10.3 – Tank Bigsby (JAX-RB)

Well, in my very first post, I mentioned Tank as a sleeper. I stand by that. With a new offensive minded head coach, and a declining Etienne I think this is the year Bigsby proves to be the better back for the Jags this season. Scooping him up in the double-digit rounds seems like a great value to me.

11.10 – Jordan Love (GB-QB)

I once again played the waiting game on quarterback, and this time it worked out for me. I had my eye on Jordan Love, and he ended up falling. The news with Parsons also effects the Packers, as they are looked at as a team who will win with defense and running the ball, but to that I say, their first-round draft pick Golden. This is a team who used high draft capital to add to Jayden Reed and Tucker Kraft. In 2023 Love threw for 4,000. He can and should do it again this year and is a value late.

12.3 – Tre Harris (LAC-WR)

Landing my ol faithful rookie once more, he reminds me a lot of another former Ole Miss wide receiver, coughDKMetcalfcoughcough. He is a big-bodied guy who should be a huge weapon in the redzone with great hands.
